Rita Goldner loves the science of nature. As an artist she captures animals, landscapes, and people in the theatre of illustration. Through her eyes explore the world of Orangutan A Day in the Rainforest Canopy and the Water Cycle with Agent H2O.

- Rita Goldner regularly visits the Phoenix Zoo to sketch and paint animals, especially the orangutans. She was aware of their endangered status, and became passionate about the protection of a thriving wild environment for orangutans. With this goal in mind, Rita wrote and illustrated Orangutan: A Day in the Rainforest Canopy. She hopes that young readers will grow up loving and respecting orangutans – and pick up the gauntlet.
